Terra Lingua USA

Founded in October 1997, Terra Lingua USA is a non-profit organization specializing in cultural and educational opportunities for high school aged students worldwide. Our vision is to promote global awareness one student at a time. We are represented in the United States by an experienced network of local and state coordinators who work in cooperation with students, host families, and local high schools to ensure quality programs. We are a team of people with a sincere desire to bring the world closer together through student exchange. We are former exchange students, foreign language teachers, and host families. Our Mission The Mission of Terra Lingua USA is to provide quality international exchange experiences in an effort to promote global understanding and experiential education to people worldwide. To fulfill this mission, Terra Lingua USA shall - Offer affordable exchange experiences through an established and caring network - Conduct all programs with integrity in a non-discriminatory manner - Partner only with organizations, international partners, and staff that share our goals and values.

As a smaller-scaled placement organization we take pride in knowing all of our students on a personal level.  Each student is carefully matched with a host family.  We value integrity, honesty and safety is our top priority. 

We offer a variety of programs including travel to the United States for short term programs (1-3 months), semester and full academic year, ESL camps, and summer programs. Additionally, we work with both public and private schools and do not receive comission for any of our placements. 

We maintain CSIET accreditation and US Department of State designations.
