Description

In 2015, our President, Mr. Rageiy El Hamarnah shared his less than ideal experience as a young student with no English language abilities in a strange and foreign land with our Vice President, Mr. David Won. As a result, Mr. Hamarnah and Mr. Won decided to create a full-service immigration consulting firm – one that went above and beyond the norm of consulting clients, completing immigration forms and obtaining visas. To this end, Mr. Won became a Regulated Canadian Immigration Consultant and HG Immigration Ltd. (“HGi”) was born. HG Immigration set out with two key objectives: 1) Help Canada grow by primarily focusing on immigrants that would contribute to Canada’s economy and rich multicultural fabric. These immigrants included wealthy investors, entrepreneurs and professionals. 2) Provide high levels of service and personalised programs for new immigrants so that they would be both comfortable, feel welcomed and successful in their newly adopted country as quickly as possible. Once the word spread across the Middle East that Mr. Hamarnah had launched an immigration consulting firm, inquiries began flowing in. The respect, reputation and honour of the Hamarnah name that was built over decades translated into a rapidly growing list of clients and an impeccable reputation across the region. Shortly after HGi’s launch, Mr. Hamarnah and Mr. Won quickly realised that many of their clients had children that wanted to study abroad. The occasional inquiry to help their children study in Canada soon became a flood of daily client requests. Many of Canada’s immigration programs place a high priority on attracting young, educated and experienced individuals that would contribute to Canada’s workforce and economy…especially in light of the current trend of increasingly larger waves of baby-boomers retiring from the labour pool. Immigration, Refugees and Citizenship Canada (IRCC) considers the best chance of offsetting this trend is by encouraging foreign nationals to continue their studies in Canada; master the English/French language; acclimatize them to Canadian society; provide them with opportunities to work and gain experience during and after their studies; and hopefully...convince these students to establish roots in Canada. Helping students study and establish themselves in our country quickly became a key pillar in HGi’s growth strategy.
