EduQuest International (EQI) was established in January 2019 by Michael Hamlett, Jacky Dyer, and Prijie Moodley. Together, they bring to the company over 50 years’ experience of education marketing and student recruitment.  The Company is based in Valencia, Spain’s third largest city.

EQI has been established to provide high quality client-oriented counselling and guidance to Spanish students (and their parents), who wish to continue their education in an English-speaking environment. EQI will focus on meeting the specific requirements of each individual student to ensure that their chosen school or college fully meets both their needs and expectations. 

Considerable importance is attached to ensuring that each student is fully prepared before departure. EQI maintains contact with them both during their full period of study overseas, and after their return. 

The focus of the Company’s activities are four English-speaking countries: the UK, Ireland, Canada, and the United States. In addition, the portfolio includes a number of European institutions who deliver their programmes in English. 

EQI represents Boarding schools and Independent Colleges, Further and Technical Education Colleges, University undergraduate and post-graduate courses, and Language Schools and Summer Programmes provided by schools with appropriate accreditation, such as that of the British Council.

The Valencia city-region has a population in excess of 1.6M, whilst the Valencia Metropolitan Region (Comunidad Valenciana) has a population in excess of 4.96M. Many parents here are acutely aware of the benefits of an international education as there are over 25 international schools, many with rolls in excess of 1,000 students, which use English as the language of instruction. In addition, there are numerous bilingual schools using English as the language of instruction for part or most of the curriculum. The city-region is home to a considerable number of professional parents who are accustomed to paying a premium for a high-quality education for their children.
