aec Education Consultancy (aec) was originally named as Australian Education Consultancy Limited (AECL) when first established in 1987, private education consulting company providing information and placement services to students wishing to study overseas. In January 1998, aec became a wholly owned subsidiary of the University of New South Wales, Australia (UNSW) and was managed by UNSW Global Pty Limited (UNSW Global) in 2003. In August 2020, aec was subsequently acquired by Amber Education Holding Limited and maintains the operation under its trading name - aec Education Consultancy, which aiming to offer a wider range of comprehensive education consulting services to the local community.

For the past 33 years, aec has established a quality reputation in the industry and has been appointed by hundreds of overseas institutions from Australia, New Zealand, Canada, UK and US as their Hong Kong representative, including English language centres, high schools, colleges and universities. With its long history and good reputation in the industry, aec has assisted over ten thousands of students to overseas since its establishment.

aec has a very good network with the local and international schools in the Hong Kong and Macau region because of our expertise and history in the education consultancy industry. With the good relationship with schools in this region, aec can better connect students with its accredited partner institutions for exploring study possibilities and pursuing of goals in overseas education.

In order to achieve customer service excellence and comply with industry standard, all staff members of aec have obtained the qualification as Qualified Education Agent Counsellors (QEAC).

FREE services offering to students and their parents:-

• Provide professional advice on study options to meet students' and families' needs
• Develop study plans to suit individual students
• Lodge applications on behalf of students for the courses of their choice
• Invigilate English or placement tests on behalf of partner institutions
• Assist students to register for the International English Language Testing System (IELTS) tests and Pearson PTE Academic tests
• Assist in student visa applications and/or student guardian visa applications
• Provide assistance in organising air ticket, airport pickup and accommodation
• Provide follow-up services to students during the initial transition period
• Provide ongoing assistance to students who want to pursue further study
• Visit students on a regular basis
